I think it is very encouraging to see the many book projects and self-publishing attempts. However it is disheartening that so many remain attempts or would have done way better 3 years ago.

There is actually no debate about how to design the spine of a book. The text must be readable when the book cover is facing upwards. It is THAT simple, and your friends working in retail can confirm it.

My heart was bleeding in the british museum. They even took a whole temple. This was the weirdest feeling ever, while going through a museum. Amazed and furious at the same time. And it was so much of it from all of these countries, with no mention of how they were acquired.
