This started as a traditional colored pencil sketch and then tried out a new digital rendering style on top. Might make a good style for visual novel promo art stuff🤔 something about it feels like Zelda manual art?

Because I'm doing more animation I'm trying to figure out for myself what actually makes a character easy or difficult to animate for me and it's a very imperfect science so far due to my limited experience, but I'm starting to understand the appeal of the cartoon.
