The Angouleme festival is cancelled in 2026, but they're organizing a 'Grand OFF', a sort of fringe festival to replace it, organized collectively. The festival normally brings 3.5 million Euros of revenue to the whole town. Hope this Grand OFF helps mitigate things for everyone.

We can imagine bookshops full of "McDonald's" books, which is essentially what AI books will be: junk. Customers aren't gonna ask for AI books, but they will end up buying them if you shove it at them. Just like what happened with junk food. Please don't.

Text and art are inseparable in comics. Looking at the art in a comic is completely different from reading the text/art, as the combo creates a completely new level/ experience.
