The government’s SEND reform proposals look alright on the surface. If you don’t have a SEND family member I can completely see how “fixing the broken ehcp system” is attractive, given that the ehcp system is very obviously broken. But the fix proposed is cutting off a leg for an ankle sprain.

As you may know, the government is proposing to reform the system that provides support for children with special educational needs and disabilities. The proposed reforms are being touted as "a radical expansion of rights", but they are the absolute opposite.
