One of my favorite finds from 2024 - recent snow transformed this desert landscape - when the snow melted, it made the soil wet, completely bringing out all the awesome textures.

I was immediately drawn to the way this small stone fit beautifully inside this larger sandstone cavity.

Beethoven's late-period music was dismissed as the incomprehensible rantings of a disabled composer. This wasn't just the conventional view during his lifetime; it remained so well into the 20th century. The popularity of his 9th Symphony was very much an outlier.
