Maybe the Labour Party should reflect on why paid up Trade Union members (Trade Unions who established the Labour Party and financially support it) are voting for other political parties?

With the current political conversation of our Anglosphere neighbours being Trump on our left and Count Binface on our right, there's never been a more urgent need for the Irish population of social media to relearn an Gaeilge and unlearn English entirely, for our collective sanity

No one asked for this, the humour was about as funny as a fart in a space suit the first time around.

We've seen some pretty racist World Cup tournaments but in my lifetime I feel like this is the most racist World Cup. It feels like there's a racist incident every few hours and everyone is just ignoring it.

The issue with not running a candidate is he is going to say he's got you running scared you know you can't win... The issue with running a "normal" (within the realms of these parties normal) candidate is that you know you can't actually win...

I mean Pochettino must have a private scream room because anyone with the smallest amount of footballing integrity would be accruing an astonishing amount of self loathing being directly associated with this.

I feel like my position is the best one to take. The USA should never be allowed to host or compete in international football tournaments again. The rest of the world simply does not have the time or patience for their ongoing fuckery

I am once again pointing out that FIFA themselves have suspended entire nations from the organisation inclusive of sanctioning their domestic leagues for cases of government interference less egregious than this. Said countries now likely have a very good case of seeking large financial redress.

Worth pointing out that that FIFA's own rules do not permit political interference, the sanction for it has traditionally been expulsion or suspension of the entire football pyramid from said country. So if we are being fair here, the USA should be expelled and their domestic league sanctioned.

Spectacular! Sepp Blatter wrote on X that "football must never become a playground for political power". Just how bent do you have to be to be criticised for it by *Sepp Blatter"! 😂🤣

World Cup 2026: Uefa claim 'integrity of the game is at stake' over Fifa's Folarin Balogun decision
Uefa says Fifa's decision not to uphold Folarin Balogun's immediate ban at the World Cup is "unprecedented, incomprehensible and unjustifiable".

Half of my energy bill is something called a standing charge, which is what companies charge people every single day even if you dont use a single unit of anything. People started reducing their energy usage so all the companies hugely raised their standing charges.

If I was American I would simply not comment on other countries buildings/infrastructure (a lot of which existed long prior their actual country) when you are still building houses out of material that the big bad wolf can blow down.

He's aware that the motivation for most voters will have likely been to get rid of him... could have put a potato in the seat, if it said it was going to launch a leadership challenge against Keir it would have won.

I'm not averse to some level of restrictions on social media for children (it's obviously poisonous) BUT I'm also not dense and I am fully aware the real reason political classes are pursuing it is because younger people being politically literate and aware of their nonsense is terrifying them.
