So this week I have completely failed to get my year 11s to understand chemical equations. However in the process I have succeeded at- 1) covering two classrooms in calcium carbonate 2) falling asleep in the prep room 3) clogging the sink in the science room

This represents one of the best lessons I've ever "taught" in AP - pupil with some decent programming know-how (out strips mine) building an OFCOM compliant community radio monitoring system. Going to install on site next week with him 👍 (once the last few parts have arrived) #thisisAP

And it works, usb c to Toshiba power adapter to cope with IT issues at school. At least I don't have to carry a massive jackery around to power a laptop for one of my students anymore, a small power bank will do. Might even get a new laptop soon!

The downside of using excel to build dashboards with very large data sets.... Gone for formulas rather than power query for lookups etc as does process faster. However still glacial compared to DAX and PowerBI. Wishing for Google Looker! (School can't afford a power BI license)
