Calling on all Chicago bikers! A beloved member of the Chicago bike community (and a Femmes + Thems core organizer) took a spill at Critical Mass on Friday and was badly injured. Because both of their arms are broken, they are not able to do most self care tasks, let alone work.

When non-car drivers say cars make cities loud, Bike the Drive on this stretch of Lake Shore Drive really helps point it out. Normally it is hard to hear others announcing passes on the trail due to the cars on this highway.

This is why I fear driving. Because others are not paying attention to a high risk activity.
