Funny story, I once worked on a film that was Executive Produced (i.e. funded) by Mike Huffington. It wasn't some big flashy Hollywood film, just an indie feature that had Eric Stonestreet in a supporting role (just before Modern Family).

Random trademark law story (US based in this case): a friend of mine has the last name of a major company in a similar industry. When he put his website with firstnamelastname dot com, that company came after him. They didnāt have a case of course, but they still tried! Just a weird story

Nirvanna The Band The Show The Movie is coming out in Korea, a country that didn't have the show and where Nirvanna and Nirvana are spelled the same way. As such it was given another, even longer, 52 word title that I need a whole followup skeet to include all of. It also spoils the entire movie.

This English/Irish-themed pub in Lyon is called āBeertney Bleachā. I canāt tell if it was intentional. Or an attempt to sound English (like, āHackney Downsā or something) and they donāt realize that drinking establishments should probably not have the name of toxic cleaning products.

I once did a trivia night with some European friends (a French and a German) and when the question was "What date did WW2 end," I deferred to their immediate answer, because they should know better than me. We got it wrong (because the war continued after Germany's defeat).

Knowing nothing about this person, this was a good interview/podcast. I learned some (predictable) things about this person. Overall the host did a relatively good job holding him to account. Also, they reference a āTim Albertaā which just sounds like the Canadian version of Tim Apple.
