So Codenames (and thus CGE) has blocked me, a Trans developer and designer, because I had the nerves to send them the two replies you find below. Judge for yourself if these are worth a ban. This is their way of dealing with empathy and care in this ongoing conversation.

This is so true. Here in Europe, especially south/east countries, we struggle a lot with taking a stance, affirm values and hold true to these. It's like we always think everything is an exaggeration and end up just not doing anything socially. And this is not only boardgame related, it's cultural.

Board games, as most media, are inherently political. The theme and setting, the manner in which (characters, names, visual representation) you present the content, the way you message it, and the things you leave out... all cultural and political. Being unwilling to recognize that is a you problem.
