A great question. They both feel moon-like from S Minneapolis because basically every transit option except the B Line kicks you downtown and back out. However! That’s also part of the charm. When I’m in the mood for a bit more adventure I love both places, feels like more of a destination.

Unpopular opinion, but just because a journalist asks a question doesn't mean they believe it. Sometimes they ask a question to draw something good and interesting out of a subject. And if that's the goal, that dude's question was a good one.

Like 75% of the US Olympic curlers are from Minnesota. A lot of them curl out of two clubs in Saint Paul, one club is in Frogtown, a neighborhood that has been very heavily targeted by ICE. These curlers are good neighbors.

There is a level of alarm coming from many great small businesses in Minneapolis & St. Paul that I haven’t heard since COVID. This weekend - pick a locally-owned business or three that you love and go spend some money if you can. We’ve all got to look out for one another and they need our help.

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

Thank god the Vikings aren’t playing today. Can you even imagine?

There are hundreds of people (maybe more?) in this photo. Not only is this not the main vigil, the main vigil is only a few blocks away. There will be tens of thousands of people in Minneapolis lighting a candle for our neighbor tonight.

It is really the best part of the city. Prodigal Pub is my favorite bar. They have taken a beating and we’ve got to show up for them whenever we can.
