The injured squirrel that I feed in our back yard is well on the mend!! He showed up today, running and jumping on the injured paw again & it looks to be completely scabbed over and no longer swollen. I’m so relieved he made it ☺️ Being kind to the smols is one of my biggest joys.

I let our dogs and cat interrupt anything I’m doing because how wonderful is it that they can’t wait another second to love me ☺️🥹

I have been sick this weekend BUT…..I did watch 2 and a half movies , almost finish the Murakami I’m reading and started a new Baldurs Gate 3 play though , so it could be worse.

Honestly all I really want in life is comfortable overalls , chilly walks with my dogs where I find a cool rock, quiet home made dinners with my husband & a cup of tea and book before bed.

I’ve greatly dwindled my online existence (which I very much recommend),mainly just here for cool birds & baby elephants & restaurants in Japan that I’ll never go to ,it’s wild to me that folks would waste time being rude to strangers who like the same things as them but “the wrong way”

I did a piece for the city of Milwaukie, OR (where I live!) celebrating our mascot making friends with some pets who really live here in town. People voted, in an online pet contest poll, to team our beloved Millie the Goose with two more geese named Kiki and Mei :)

Listening to the My So Called Life soundtrack & remembering so clearly, being 14. You couldn’t pay me enough to be a teenager again , but I have such a soft warmth for the girl I was. I wish I could tell her not to worry, there’s wonderful stuff ahead & that she is much cooler than she thinks.
