Our sweet senior baby Éowyn had surgery weeks ago , yesterday she got her stitches out and today she is Cone Of Doom free!!! Celebrated with a long leisurely smell walk, she’s so happy to not be a lamp anymore lol☺️

My husband got us ESPN+ so we could watch The Knicks in the playoffs. I’m having a great time , it’s a great game but I haven’t watched live tv in so long that I forgot about commercials and how weird they are lol Anyway , Let’s Go Knicks!

Loving this season of The Adventure Zone. I get to hear great things like “Next in the order is the Corpse Mound” 😂 This podcast has done alot of heavy lifting on my mental health for a very long time and I’m incredibly grateful that they continue to make it ☺️

Finished “East of Eden” today and man, what a book! Steinbeck really knows how to knock the wind out of you in the best possible way. 2 of my favorite characters in literature are now from this book. Thankful I dove in , sad it took me so long to get to. Now, to watch the James Dean flick ✌️

Today,went for a run, took dogs for a walks, read my book, rewatched Harriet The Spy & made some delicious salmon for dinner. Now time for some video games and then bed with my kindle until I fall asleep. Here’s some rad plants , trees and dogs that have been making me smile. Hope y’all are rad ✌️

We finished S2 of One Piece and it’s one of the most wholesome , enjoyable tv shows I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Everyone is perfectly cast , the costuming is pitch perfect & it treads the line of cartoonish & heartfelt vibes of the anime & manga flawlessly. I cant wait for next season.

Rabbit hole. Experimenting a little: pastels and crayons and color pencils on paper. Painting this one bigger than usual and it really helped with the chunkier marks.

Bad news, a-holes. Nature won't quit being magic. I was walking by a pond yesterday and a baby turtle popped up like she was saying "hi" to me and the sunshine simultaneously. Like... WTF? And I just counted 6 species of insects on the dandelions in my yard. I'm furious with delight. Gross.
