Being an adult doesn’t mean you have to outgrow joy. Play the game. Buy the console. Get excited about the trailer. Spend your night saving a fictional kingdom if that’s what gets you through. Life takes enough from people. Don’t hand it the things that still make you feel like yourself.

Having kids is so expensive. My son's had a growth spurt recently and has needed all sorts, and then he starts swimming lessons, so that's over £70 in lessons and kit 🥲

Adhd medication really is bizarre at times. Elvanse's ability to randomly make me super sociable and need to make plans to see friends and catch up, is like being ambushed by a much more extroverted version of myself. And then it backfires when the plans come around and I'm not that sociable again🥲

Just made a phone call to deal with something stressy that I've been putting off all week, and it took like, 5 minutes and was nowhere near as stressful as I expected and was super easy to sort out. You'd think this would stop me from doing this again the next time something like this crops up. 😅
