Honestly, the best way to make an artist’s day is by being very specific about what you like about a piece. Geek out a lil. Gush over how they use line, color, texture. Every mark is layed down by the artist, so if you can connect with those little moments, it helps the artist feel seen.

If a story includes nonconsensual sex (even romanticised/eroticised), that is FINE. Because the only *real people* involved in the interaction are the a.) writer b.) reader The writer can be kind and add content warnings but the reader ALWAYS has the option to STOP READING.

I'm being so real right now, learn how to engage in media as art and not a reflection of your own real life morals. consume things that make you uncomfortable and understand why it makes you uncomfortable. Don't just base yours and others morals standings on the media you consume.

Properly labelled / tagged fiction is consensual by default. You only see it, consume it, interact with it, if you consent to. Censoring it is ridiculous puritanism.

These critically acclaimed, made by real people films, cost less than this pile of actual vomit.

This is hugely important: If you use the Atlantic's author search tool, a TON of comics don't come up because they don't have creators listed. I just found like all my comics work looking directly and it sucks. So, make sure you're very thorough in your search.
