I so enjoyed watching @marklewisohn.bsky.social’s new Beatles documentary Evolver:62 this evening, because it isn’t brand management or hagiography or pseudo-psychology but genuinely fascinating, factual commentary. As such, both serious and gripping. Thank you, Mark, for all your work.

Warm and Beautiful My favourite track on the album. It's like a hymn. Such a beautiful melody and sentiment. It never fails to move me. Just absolutely outstanding. #wingssos50

Time To Hide I absolutely love this track. Great song, sung brilliantly by Denny. Anyone else remember Denny playing it on Magpie? No? #wingssos50

Cook of the House It's a great Fifties backing but I'm not sure this song suits Linda's voice. I much prefer Seaside Woman. Something about Cook reminds me of Death Cab For Cutie. #wingssos50

Silly Love Songs A classic. Fantastic melody, strings, bassline, vocals from Linda and Denny, just perfect . The only thing it lacks is a dancer getting an electric shock and doing a backflip, apparently. #wingssos50

Beware My Love Love the intro and this is an absolute banger. Macca's rock voice is outstanding. This is a belter. Love the guitar, piano and backing vocals. It's fantastic live too! #wingssos50

She's My Baby Clearly an important song to Paul when he remembers Linda. It's a catchy tune but the "like gravy" & "mopping it up" always make me wince. The instruments are really well recorded. #wingssos50

The Note... Denny's voice is fabulous but I think the song is a little slow until the beautiful guitar solo kicks in. #wingssos50

Let 'Em In From the sound of the McCartneys' own doorbell to the false ending, this is a joy. An absolute classic. Paul's voice is so melodic and perfect and the band sounds fantastic. Love the way Paul mentions his relatives! #wingssos50
