I had a splendid time visiting Calderstones School, formerly Quarry Bank, alma mater of both John Lennon and @mistinguettecat.bsky.social. Delighted to be able to say I have played piano in the McCartneys’ front parlour and guitar on the same stage as the Quarrymen.

It was so exciting to be back inside Abbey Road Studio 2 the other night. It has an incredibly special atmosphere & inspires reverence and wonder! Paul McCartney caught in a paparazzo's flash bulb as he left the Roundhouse on Wednesday 10th June 2026.

Such a buzz to see Macca this week at the Roundhouse. It felt very intimate and special. Paul was on top form and clearly enjoyed talking to Rob Brydon enormously. A real privilege to see Paul share insights into his new songs with his fans and watch him joyfully singing along. Magical.

Had a magical evening at the Roundhouse last night. A real privilege to see Paul up close as he talked about every track on Dungeon Lane & sang along. Macca was relaxed, happy & very funny in the company of Rob Brydon. A wonderful experience! Lovely to hang out with @cherryaimless.bsky.social too!

On the other hand, the music on this album is still incredibly fresh, exciting, vibrant, stunning and mind-expanding. An immortal joy!

I saw this statue in front of a bombed out church in Liverpool and it reminded me so much of Macca's memorable, cinematic Pipes of Peace video.
