It's amazing how wiped out I am after doing a class in Special Collections. Standing for almost 3 hours, setting up, taking down, and answering a lot of questions. Today we looked at materials related to censorship, including our Orwell manuscript and the first book banned in the US. #libraries

In hindsight, all the problems started when we moved away from hand-written library catalog cards.

My sister & a friend & I went for a walk and lunch in a garden cemetery where we are going to eventually have a green burial. The friend checked the newly installed stone plaque to see if our names had been added. They were but I couldn't look. That's just one step too far in accepting mortality!

I also had a good nature day. Saw a flock of seagulls hovering over the river, dipping down to eat something, herons standing about in the water, a hawk soaring overhead, and a bunny in my yard.
