I’ve been on my Stranger Things rewatch binge (completed S1) and snuck in some Alien Earth this week as well, so my #LetterboxdFriday is only a #LastWatched this week. I did not remember liking Part VII much, and it may be my second-favorite in the franchise. A very nice surprise. #FilmSky 🎥

Rewatching Stranger Things from the beginning to have everything fresh for the finale this holiday season. Damn I forgot how much chemistry Hopper and Joyce have right from the get-go. Great yin and yang, though of course they’re similar in their irritability.

Finally depositing back into my gambling account after putting $30 into it 3-3.5 years ago. I play for peanuts, but netted enough in that time to pay for a Machine Head concert, Illumination at the Arboretum for the fam, a Cavity Colors order and some smaller fun along the way. T’was a good run.

Tonight I saw The Offspring, with my daughter - her first real concert - and wife, the same place I saw my first real concert in 1999. That show was headlined by Black Sabbath, and tonight The Offspring covered both Sabbath and Ozzy. Thats fucking poetry. Core achievement unlocked ✅
