I was standing at the back door this morning venting heat, and saw something unusual at our lavender bush: something the size of a bee, but moving like a hummingbird around all the lavender flowers, feeding without alighting. So I got a closer look, and it was a hummingbird hawk moth!

There are straight up too many Steam games using AI without disclosing it at this point. If "AI is inevitable" why is it so toxic to your sales to just tell people you use it? Much to think about.

One of my favourite useful realisations this year: When I'm attempting to gently evict a moth from a room, turning the light on to see it better is counter-productive. The moth gets hyper-stimulated, and is far less likely to let me catch it in my hands for easy transport to the window.

Spent the weekend up in the Bannau Brycheiniog, a dark skies reserve, so got up at 2am to have a go at some astrophotography! Couldn't quite escape scattered clouds, but happy with the sheer number of stars on display with minimal kit. #Photography #Wales
