Piano arranging tip for the day: If you're torn between two ways of arranging a passage, go with whichever one is easier to play. If the harder version isn't clearly superior for any artistic reason, then the only reason to stick to it would be that you want the arrangement to be difficult.

Today's question: what's one game mechanic that you love that you don't see as often as you'd like? I absolutely love "secrets within secrets." A hidden room is fun, a room hidden in that room is even better. My favorite example: Dark Souls hid entire optional areas within entire optional areas.

What's one game mechanic that's super common but never, ever fun? I'll start- any kind of "paralysis" of the player from enemy attacks beyond a second or so, having control taken away that long is nothing but aggravating.
