NIMBYS saying "we're not against transit" in their comments, is just political cover for NIMBY politicians. They are blatantly anti transit. it's a political gambit.

I have had NIMBYs say this to me explicitly. They believe that because they purchased in a single family zone, they therefore have a property right that would be violated if it were upzoned.
