I feel like I must have had more wigs from Amphigory because for a while it was more or less the only place to get cosplay wigs, but the most memorable is probably Shiemi. I still have it! RIP to a legend, my Cody Hackins wig was from there (cosplay circa 2009) and I remember buying my first ever blue hair dye there. I had a friend in art school bleach my hair and it was still so orange my hair turned green lol fun times

Sad day to hear about Amphigory. 😭 My 1st cosplay (2008) wig was from this place. Had a hard time finding an auburn wig that matched DW6 Yue Ying & this was where I found it from. Still have it & holds up well. How things have changed wig wise since then. You'll be missed. 📷 celsiusshi (ig)

Same order I got my white wig that was supposed to be for Barry the Chopper & used in a Sexy no Jutsu Jiraiya cosplay instead (06 was an interesting time). I still have this wig!! mainly because I have no clue what to do with it. It was almost harvested for the Athena wig but used a 2B one instead.

RIP Amphigory, pouring out one for the homie that was like the only place you could get colorful wigs for a long time (but it took a month) This blue wig started out for Vivi Nefertari then was used for Iori Rinko until I FINALLY replaced it a couple years ago. It was always a fight to style it tho

This wig might’ve been the last one I got from Amphigory back in 2012? Worn most recently at Otakon last summer 😱 They were my main go-to for wigs for *years*

I used Amphigory early on with my cosplays. Got my first Minmay wig before I had to switch to a heat resistant wig for the curls, Monica from Yakitate!! Japan, and got blue wefts to sew into my Fancy Lala wig.
