I really wish I knew why Cater was such a no go of a cosplay for me. this happens to me sometimes. I love the character, I’m happy with the outfit and wig, I put it on, and something is just plain wrong and I have a bad time and look bad in pics. There is not a single pic I’m actually happy with.

btw just saying in advance that if you want to cosplay twisted wonderland Azul, Cater, or Idia and really don’t want to style it yourself… I’m going to put my personal wigs for them up for sale after some careful touchups (because I don’t see myself using those wigs again) for way less $ than a comm

I think my favorite part about getting to see very big screen Angel’s Egg was how easy it was to just STARE at all of the visibly hand drawn lines on the beautiful sketchy backgrounds. just appreciating the very purposeful imperfections in line weight and the washes of monotone color. Aaaaaaa

tbh I don't think I'll ever get over how ridiculous and it is when 40 or 50 or 60 year olds freak out that 20 year olds don't have all the same cultural touchstones that they do. There's been a lot more culture since then, there's no way they can already know all of it.
