Been hacking away at multiplayer support for AFADoomer's Wolf3D TC for #UZDoom the past few days! Works beautifully with the upcoming netcode update of UZDoom 5.0. Still a few kinks to work out, but it's looking promising!

Sad to say that we've hit a last-minute delay: We've finally hit the limits of #DOOM and had to move to a new platform. Thankfully though, after making some *mild* design tweaks to fit, Final Burn Alpha feels pretty comfortable. More soon!

Everyone on the @uzdoom.bsky.social team has been working to optimise the engine ever since it was still GZDoom, it's just considerably harder than hitting the Magical Go-Fast Button and all the easy victories have already been achieved. Future efforts (sprite render rework etc.) will demand sweat!
