This was definitely one of my favourite fan arts, capturing that “protect Wilson at all costs” vibe.

🎖Runner up 4: AimlessJourney ($250) We watched this one come together over time, and although the artist couldn't fully finish it to their liking, we loved the originality, the bold brushwork, and the beautiful realization of the city. It's an interesting, wonderful piece.

🎖Runner up 3: Daniel Mihálik ($250) WILSON! We were pleasantly surprised by how often Wilson showed up across submissions; we loved seeing him so often! This piece captures the action of Selaco wonderfully, especially for those brave enough to escort Wilson to safety

🎖 Runner up 2: @drdubz.bsky.social ($250) Not only is it a great composition with a dynamic pose, but the added text commenting on Selaco's meta gameplay was a nice touch. We recall that being added later as a resubmission. Great work!

(Runner-ups are in no particular order) 🎖Runner up 1: danvo_410 ($250) Technically complex, dynamic, and awesome to look at. Clearly made by a very talented artist! It reminded us of League of Legends splash art - which is high praise given the quality of their art.

🥇WINNER: Charles Lemor ($400) This piece is fantastic! We love the striking reds, the contrast on Dawn and that stylish flair throughout. We've always wanted to explore a more stylized direction in our promotional art and this felt incredibly inspiring. Congratulations!

I can see why people recommended this one. A wonderful throwback to those '100-in-1' NES cartridges my brothers and I used to play back then - which I'm almost certain is the intent. I haven't played them all yet, but so far not a single game in here feels rushed or lazy. Color me impressed!

I remember being hyped as fuck for this back in 2012. Can't believe it's actually launching!?

The industry is currently shifting towards a direction that is harmful to the artform by replacing as many humans as possible in favor of automation. Microsoft has made it clear on multiple occasions that they want to be the leading studio towards this type of development. Do not trust Microsoft.

I want to emphasize that I'm just speculating here. My intention isn't to criticize the actress for a fumbled line or accuse the studio of using AI-generated voices without proof. But given Microsoft's aggressive push towards AI-assisted development, I think my skepticism perfectly is warranted.
