You look at these failure crash games and you have to admit, we've become jaded with how pretty games are. Like, damn, devs be flexing some beautiful rendering and we're all like 'Nah, it's an X genre. Dead game.' Then everyone is fired except the guy who came up with the idea in the first place.

The LC project is just something I'm having fun with in my free time. It may never be something anyone else ever play. I have no plans to collaborate on the project as I have zero funds to properly compensate contributions. (I will not accept free labor! Artists should be paid for their skills.)

It's a start. I of course used the Clover mesh as the base. Gotta be frugal where I can, but they are slightly different body shapes. I originally tried to match their ear length, but Clover's ears up are waaaay too tall. (Oh, and I really do have my reasons for Lucky's simple face.) #CherubDev

I've been using stepped keyframes for Clover's animations. BUT I'm not just doing key poses at a low frame rate. I find that if I offset different parts of the body and animate on their own key frames, it gives it a really interesting look in motion. In stills... it looks weird.

Got some rest. Did my day work. Now back at this with fresh eyes, I was able to polish up the bits that felt weird to me from last night. I keep saying this project is intended to play like Armored Core. Hopefully it's becoming clear why. #CherubDev #UE5 #Mecha #Bunny

Made a pair of reverse legs to try doing some weird stuff with. But I want to find a EASY way to get it game ready so I don't hand retopo... I want to have a stat on limbs call 'monstrous'. The higher this value, the faster you lose threshold energy. This would be a pretty monstrous pair of legs.
