As it happens that #RStats binary on macos runners seems to be hardened, the idea of C JIT from with tinycc on macos is mostly hopeless. Works fine on linux on the main and on macos in pure C. Looks like this is a know issue in other contexts blog.davisvaughan.com/posts/2022-0...
