Any time you work on anything, you are going to hit those "UH OH" moments where your stomach drops as you see a similar project that makes yours feel derivative and uninteresting and doomed to fail. That's normal! Regroup, adapt, persevere! Your perspective has value!

Good lord, did I love Aoi Honoo (Blue Blazes). Great series that a lot of folks, especially anime fans, never talk about even though it's a love letter to the manga and anime creators and the creative process as a whole, not to mention being a semi-factual comedy. It's short, but so good.
