The problem with Titus Andronicus (apart from Shakespeare writing it in his Young Edgelord phase), is that the only likeable characters in the whole damn thing are Lucius Jr, the child, and Aaron, who is just enjoying being a villain so hugely much. Everyone else is horrible and self-righteous.

The problem with going to the theatre (yes yes I know, problems, envy me), is I am completely wired by an exciting evening out and also I have drunk coffee after 5pm and I am SO AWAKE I can hear my own toenails growing. Which is why I'm still here, bouncing gently off the ceiling, at 1:45am.

After sunset I ate a pear, and then I went out to the theatre with a pal. I also ate a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, and a salted caramel ice cream. The play was Titus Andronicus. Glad I ate before. Because they did the gory bits with hoses. I am not kidding. Ridiculous bloody play.

Oof today sucks. I just wanted to to write some very long cringeworthy journal entries and then come on line to burble inconsequentially about mugs and cats and how the pear I've put aside to break my fast with is LOOKING at me. But here we are.

It's Yom Kippur.

I was given several mugs for my birthday earlier this year. I also bought a couple of mugs that amused me greatly. Now my mugs do not all fit on their designated shelf. This is just such a silly little problem to have but my kitchen is tiny and stupid and there is limited storage and I am VEXED.
