I’m not going to hail Barrett and Roberts for allowing us to count our votes. It’s a huge win for democracy, but it shouldn’t have even been a question. That we were one vote away from disenfranchising votes is all the more reason to expand the court in 2029.

This week someone targeted my family for harm with a false report. We’re physically OK, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t harmed. I am beyond furious. Whatever your politics, this is awful, wrong, and can never become normal.

What are the odds of TWO master orators married to one another? Listening to them speak was uplifting, inspirational and exhilarating. A reminder of another, better time when leaders spoke to our better angels & offered hope & optimism rather than divisive vulgarisms.
