The White House is awash in blood and it’s coming from the Oval Office. The blood from innocents slaughtered in wars to distract us. The blood of immigrants. Blood poisoned, too, by the hate unleashed by the President and his people. And the blood from cages he built on our White House lawn.

Your President, your money, your America.

Until we demand better our police will continue to shoot and kill our neighbors in the throes of a mental health crisis. The LMPD is only as good as we demand they be. As we demand the Mayor makes them be. Bang Bang, You’re Dead.

I can no longer teach with confidence or a straight face that in America no one is above the law, or, that the Rule of Law will prevail at the highest levels of our justice system.

The race is set. To the exact extent Andy Barr is a simpering stooge pandering to the worst tendencies of the voters Charles Booker is a courageous leader exhorting those voters to believe in their best selves. This race shouldn’t be close. The fact that it might be is to our shame.

Everything in the world isn’t his fault. But everything he does is worthy of blame. And prison.

This is unfair to goldfish, who have more free will and a sturdier spine than Andy Barr and from my research are also less racist. Andy will eat anything Trump drops into the rancid tank of Republican candidates he swims in.

The final rite of passage for @louisvillelaw 1L students before finals was made possible yesterday through the grace of Judge @juliekaelin Judge @annieoconnell33 Judge Mitch Perry, @i.am.mckay.chauvin and #jeffersoncircuitcourt staff and sheriffs. Dean @profmelbjacobs and Molly Stanley were key.

Enjoy your trip Kentucky. You’ve shown us it’s actually not a long one. #CharlieKirk was a racist. Among other things. He shouldn’t be honored. He should be forgotten as soon as possible. Or, remembered only as a warning that White Supremacy is always right around the corner.

For the 2nd straight year two members of the @louisvillelaw National Mock Trial Team swept the finals of the !L Moot Court competition today! Different disciplines with the same goals. Congratulations to @annie__flores and @shelbyyhamm and to all of the future advocates who competed.

He had everything but wanted more. He went to the crossroads and instead of selling his soul to play guitar he sold it and the nation itself for a little more power. He, nearly alone, could have stopped Trump but he bent his knees instead, his legacy now down there on the floor with him.

Any law firm that hires fired Attorney General #PamBondi is morally compromised. Their practice should be investigated by their state bar associations, and present and prospective clients should be shunned. Period.

The @kygop Know-Nothings tell you this is about financial responsibility but they’re lying. This is about tearing down higher education: Teach the MAGA Way or get out. Sadly, the universities have already demonstrated their willingness to be complicit.

These are not actors, there is no script, and this is not a play. @phoebeshown objects to @bergen_cornelius as the @butlerhighprelaw jurors watch in trial action today @louisvillelaw. The verdict was guilty and these 3Ls and their co-counsel were also guilty of being outstanding young trial lawyers.

ICE is not there to help TSA lines. It’s a show of force. It’s another test of what we’ll accept. It’s a threat.

The @kygop moves to impeach a circuit court judge because for them it’s never about the law. It’s simply about power, used maliciously and arrogantly. This isn’t Justice. It’s Just Us.
