I'm not too into anime, but I have a bit of a deep cut. In 1981, TV Tokyo produced a Christian anime series called "Superbook," in which the characters traveled into Bible stories. TBN ran it here in the States. It was being re-run in the late 80's and became one of my Saturday morning must-sees.
