This YouTube channel, @DeadliftsForTheDarkGods, publishes content I've been devouring these past few days. What got me is the guy did some voiceovers with sound effects for Elemental Council. A contact sent one my way, I was entranced, and now I'm just down the rabbithole. 10/10

I get the logic, Dept of War sounds more warriorly than Defense. But why stop there? Why not the Temple of War or Cult of Annihilation or Murder Inc or something? Tons of rebranding opportunities being missed right now smh

Yndrasta was a fun one to write. I have this monster story that I thought would be cool for her: a horror story in Sigmaron where she's hunting down a beast that chews up Stormcast for fun. Kind of like "Murder by Moonlight" turned on its head.

I was glad to see @mehdirhasan.bsky.social's debate on Jubilee for this. In the post-interview clip you could really tell that the event was eye-opening for some of the attendees who realized who they were in politically bed with.

Don't like Trump, not by any stretch. I'll always consider him a traitor after J6, and his systematic attack on American rule of law disgusts me. But I'll stomach his presidency if he takes a hard line against Russia in Putin's war against Ukraine. Won't vote for him, but I'll support him in this.

Something's changing. @yorkcorising.com mustered 400 protesters in their Hands Off! event yesterday in Rock Hill, SC. Another group organized a protest with similar numbers down the street. People are mad — and should be. We have a Pied Piper in the White House deceiving 1/3 of Americans for power.

Watching Senator Booker kill it. I'm (obviously) not from New Jersey, but I just donated to this guy's campaign. Americans need leadership like this in the face of Trump's authoritarianism.

That's the aim 😊 And yeah Tolkien's incorporation of his war experience into his writing is a really fascinating aspect of him. I recently read a great 40k book by @noahvannguyen.bsky.social and I felt like you could tell he had actual military experience in that too. It's subtle but it shows.

Only a philosophy professor with too much time on his hands would write a 40k fanfic in which the Khorne worshippers are trying to solve a murder for not being precisely the right kind of murder for their faith instead of just killing everyone in sight for the lulz.

Godeater's Son by @noahvannguyen.bsky.social. Well-written Chaos POV stories with tragic anti-heroes always have a soft spot with me, and this one had come highly recommended. Van Nguyen brings a different perspective and awareness to his characters which really elevates his work. Gripping.

Anyone have tips for stripping plastics? I've used 91% IPA with a 3-day soak to little effect and Simple Green (Dettol?) week long soak to no effect. Scrubbing with soft/medium bristles. Thinking about trying 99% IPA and soaking for a week but figured someone out here might be a wiz and help me out

Sure seems like the Trump-Vance ambush on Zelenskyy was the tipping point for many. This reddit post: "TRUMP IS SHITTING ON THE TRUTH AND THINGS WE'RE IDIOTS!!!" (Not positive if folks on this Vietnamese subreddit mostly liked Trump, but my impression heretofore has been most Vietnamese liked him.)

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.
