I love the Time Travelers series by Ian Mortimer. They perfectly hit that part of history that a writer really wants to know - not what happened, but what it was like to be live then. Highly recommended.

Reading time. Some more for the rpg pile. I read far more than I run, but that’s part of the fun, or at least I’ve always thought so. RPGs are a bazaar of ideas, always changing, staying the same and coming up with new things. And that’s wonderful.

My most recent editorial letter (from a truly excellent production editor) said, "Author begins sentences with 'and' & 'but' frequently. Also note semicolon use. Do not correct." Bless your heart.
