One thing I love about "ET" is how it time-freezes the last gasp of subdivisions in LA's hills & Valley. I related to riding bikes with friends over graded terraces for homes, making jumps out of plywood. This intersection is at Beaufait & Darby in Porter Ranch (1982 vs. 2022).

I've never seen a series finale as funny, emotionally impactful and downright spectacular as last night's Late Show! What a pleasure it was to meet the hundreds of staff members and thank them personally (and pose for selfies) for entertaining us for more than a decade. ♥️🙏-mh #GoneButNeverForgotten

Finished reading a book last night that I really enjoyed. Picked up the sequel today. Life is good. My only gripe is that the third volume doesn't come out until September. Thankfully there are SOOOO many wonderful books out there to enjoy.

My fiancée foregoes sleeping in the bed to sleep with our old, blind, diabetic dog on the floor when he feels anxious and I couldn’t love her more. Kindness for all living things. Nothing is more attractive, more worthy of adoration and respect than undying empathy.

I’m absolutely loving Colbert tonight, highlighting his staff who will all be out of work on Friday, (I hope they all get snapped up), eating steamed chicken while doing the show and just kicking back, getting emotional and saying exactly what he thinks
