My GP Surgery has messaged me twice by email via manage my health to remind me of my 9 am appointment today. The first reminder came in at 12:55 am & the second one at 4:55 am 🙄 And, to be honest, if I had forgotten, it probably would’ve been better if they messaged me at 5 o’clock last night….

You can’t have it both ways. You can’t come to your doctor with a list of 3,4, 5+ things to deal with in one 15 mn appt & at the same time expect that your doctor will always run on time. And if your response is “appointments should all 30 minutes”, that halves the number of patients seen each day!

Why do patients think it’s appropriate to try & argue with the receptionist or nurse about the cost of services at their Drs Practice. We have no control over our charges. We neither own nor manage the Practice-we’re simply employees. Do you ask supermarket staff for reduced priced groceries?
