Just finished imaging my last rep of an experiment that has taken a grand total of 6100 minutes (101.66 hrs) of live-cell confocal imaging, spread across 305x 35mm dishes

🧪 Does anybody have any examples on how to teach critical thinking in a structured way to young people? Very fearful that AI has rlly impacted the natural ways that a lot of us acquired critical thinking skills over time, & as AI isn’t going anywhere I’m keen to understand other ways to teach it.

ok stats experts! if we have measures in a timecourse, how would you capture whether different groups show a different pattern? i guess the simple/obvious thing is t test on a given timepoint but this throws away all the info from multiple timepoints... any link/tutorial you like? (pls rski)

Meh, sometimes. My PCRs usually work, so I skip it, and run the gel if I don't get colonies the next day(hopefully, no one in my lab reads this). However, even when I run the gel, it's a 12 ml glass slide gel. For gel purification, I'd normally run a bigger gel. patharkar.com/2018/10/prep...
