I've been declining requests from well meaning older folks in my County to participate in a town hall with my Republican counterpart to discuss healthcare. I understand they wish we were in a place where discourse would be productive, but the GOP wants poor and working class people to die, so no.

I heard on the news that the President "used an offensive slur to describe the Governor" If I hadn't looked up what he said I would have moved on with a shrug. We need the mainstream media to tell us the terrible things that the President says, describing his words with euphemisms doesn't cut it.
