In 2024, Donald Trump came to Pennsylvania and promised not to cut Medicaid. He lied.

Donald Trump’s illegal tariffs hurt families, farmers, and small businesses — and they’ve cost Pennsylvanians $4 billion. The President’s speech tonight makes it even more clear that he’ll just keep hurting our economy and making it harder for hardworking Americans to get by.

Most Pennsylvanians want the same things: good schools for their kids, safe communities, economic opportunities, and their rights and freedoms protected. While Donald Trump threatens every one of those things, Gov. @joshshapiropa.bsky.social and I will keep fighting for you.

In our 2026-27 state budget, we are once again proposing an increase to the minimum wage:  ➡️ Minimum wage increases from $7.25 to $15 an hour  ➡️ Tipped wages increase from $2.83 to $9 an hour    More than two dozen states have raised their wages in the past few years. It’s time for PA to join them.

When the federal government backed away from funding SNAP in 2025, PA 211 call centers stepped up and connected people with food banks and volunteer opportunities.   This budget proposes a 33% increase in state funding for PA 211 services so more Pennsylvanians can find help when they’re in crisis.

Can someone please explain to me how I'm supposed to tell my daughter that the person who posts racist videos is our president and worthy of respect? I'm really struggling as a parent. Over and over again he has shown us who he is. Folks should believe him.

Politics is definitely a family affair. Blayre is the best mother— who somehow manages to support our family, and still show up every day to serve our community as Pennsylvania’s Second Lady. Harper, who at just two years old, is a force to be reckoned with. I’m always grateful for their support.

Over these last three years, Josh has become more than a partner in this work. He’s become a friend. So grateful for his friendship!
