#PalliativeCare clinics can choose to still do TeleHealth visits because the presumption is those funds will be paid retroactively. The longer the GOP driven shutdown goes on, the more likely we are going to have to tell patients and their caregivers they must come to clinic, no matter the burden.

I just donate to my local food bank. I’m starting early this year given the federal government may not fund SNAP and continues to avoid a real solution to the shutdown impacting so many people. People need food. People need healthcare. Making access more difficult to either is cruel. #HCWvsHunger
