We went to Alligator Pond, a fishing town on the southwest coast of Jamaica, to distribute wire & rope to local fishermen to help them rebuild fishing pots after a lot of their gear was destroyed by the storm. 📍Sumas, Washington WCK’s Angele checked in from Sumas, WA last week after reaching the community hit hard by recent flooding. After residents were forced to evacuate when the river overflowed, local first responders began clearing debris to make it safe for families to return. (1/2)

Lenford has a crucial job: he fuels the local community members who fuel our #ChefsForJamaica response. Every day, he's in charge of cooking our team's family breakfast and lunch—the meals that our cooks eat at our Montego Bay Field Kitchen.

Over the weekend, WCK supported communities in Odesa after a missile attack damaged infrastructure and a residential building. Through power and water outages, our #ChefsForUkraine teams provided hot meals and drinks to families and first responders, as well as a palliative care center for children.

As storms intensify, WCK is finding new ways to stay one step ahead so we can respond the moment disaster strikes. We established strategic hubs across the Caribbean and other high-risk regions in 2025 stocked with ready-to-move food and supplies. (1/2)
