The photos in this Chicago Tribune piece⦠It's a quiet middle-class inner suburb, but these guys look like they're in Fallujah circa 2006. The uniforms indicate Border Patrol and its BORTAC "special operations" unit.

Would I vote for the guy? No, but it's sort of amusing watching the Republican commenters losing it over Mandami likely winning and accusing him of being a communist

Normally, when you try to give a villain depth it involves giving them an understandable motivation of a tragic backstory to justify their actions. The DS9 writers laugh at such amateurs. For seven years they added layers of depth to Gul Dukat, and every time he looked more evil.

So, for those of you didnβt grow up playing halo in your college dorm, the flood is a mutant zombie parasite threatening humanity that players eradicate by any means necessary. The United States government just invoked it in an ad for IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT. So yeah, ethnic cleansing territory.
