RPG publishers! Please consider releasing your products in epub! It’s an open standard, improves accessibility, and makes it much easier to read and use your product on a phone!

I would really love to see TTRPGs also released as an epub so I can read it on my phone in dark mode when I'm curled up from a migraine. Most TTRPG pdfs aren't easily viewed on phones, and it's an accessibility issue rarely discussed. And there are more applications for epubs than my migraine days.

Yesterday I canned 8 jars of jelly (from the juice I made last week) and today my shoulders and neck are absolutely enraged. That jelly better be damn good and worth it! (Even if it's delicious, the joy of canning again like it's 2019 definitely probably almost for sure was worth it!)

My event plan-recover times are about 1.5x, meaning I needed about 10 days to plan and rest ahead of our 1 week vacation, and another 10 days to recover. So our 1 week trip to see my grandmother for (likely) the last time cost me nearly 4 weeks of working time. Just one of the costs of disability.

I (and hubby) have to wake up at 3:45 am to get ourselves and four kids out the door by 4 am for their first ever family vacation that includes an airplane. One able-bodied adult, one disabled wheelchair-using adult, four kids (all of whom are neurodivergent) at 4 fucking am. Pray for me y'all 😭😭😭

There was very clearly a vital bird council meeting happening in my corner of the city today. Everyone who's anyone gathered in the giant tree in our neighbors backyard, our cherry tree, and the other fruit trees across the back alley. I don't know what was decided, but it was a very lively debate.

One of the projects on my giant list is an adventure that focuses on traditionally feminine arts, like weaving, embroidery, quilting, etc, and uses that as the basis for lore and clues. There is SO MUCH beautiful work and storytelling in those art forms, and it rarely gets the attention it deserves.

When creators ask for feedback, actually give it. Not just "looks good!" but real thoughts: "This mechanic is clever" or "My players would love this NPC." Your experience as a user is valuable intel.

So far today, I have: turned cherry juice (I made a few days ago) into jelly, mended my daughter's dress, mended my wheelchair bag, organized my son's online driving class, put on a load of laundry (downstairs), added mod podge seal to my wheelchair sides, and cut my daughter's hair. I am tired! 😅
