Think my sense of smell may have finally returned after surgery! Took myself into London and it feels like I've got a new nose or something. Gonna run around some bakeries and frantically snuffle all the products.

Been here since Wednesday but got confirmation from the doctor I'll be able to go home today. Just the idea of having a full, interrupted nights sleep is filling me with happy feels. 🥰

Been told I don't get out till Monday. Already pretty bored and very hard to sleep in these wards. 😵‍💫 Also apparently ten weeks after of no heavy lifting or bending forward somehow. So much for looking forward to some Spring gardening at the new house... 😭

Feeling drowsy and sore but am already back in the land of the living. Didn't lose the gland, my eyesight or die, so let's call this a win. 😉

Admitted to hospital for my long awaited surgery. Tomorrow morning they'll put me under to remove a tumour on my pituitary gland, near my brain. Sitting in this ward, waiting for tomorrow is bad enough, but really not looking forward to 3-4 days laying here recovering.
