WOW. The lead plaintiff is a Latino man who's been here legally for 24 years. He was grabbed off the street by plainclothes federal agents who didn't even ASK about his status. He was detained overnight and only released once a supervisor realized he had been illegally arrested.

The White House convinced many its focus is “illegal” immigration. Then: —Today’s near-ban on LEGAL high-skill work visas —Ended LEGAL refugee visas —Slashing LEGAL student visas —Ban all/most LEGAL visas for 17 countries —Ending LEGAL parole & TPS for millions Not a “crackdown”. A lawless purge.

My optimism here is limited, but I really hope centrist institutions like universities and major news organizations understand that the plan is for the govt to dismantle them. They do not care if you fire your columnists or discipline staff for accurately quoting Kirk. They just want us all gone.
