A Citroen C15 style “van” version of the Maverick Hybrid would be the closest we’ve come to automotive perfection.

Fascinating variety of cars in “Miniland” at Legoland. I believe that’s a Rover 216, an MGF, a Citroën C6, and an Audi TT.

Found at my parents house. I used to walk around with this book all day as a kid. Sadly I don’t think they kept making new editions after the 80s and this one is a bit dated.

New (to me) cross bike shakeout observations: -Di2 is the truth, looking forward to racing with it -Carbon bars do not belong on my cross bike and will be removed promptly -I still find loud freehubs obnoxious

I always thought this 1987 Matchbox Mercury Sable had an oval on the tailgate because they initially planned to make it a Taurus but then I was reminded that in some markets the Taurus used the Sable front fascia with Ford badges in the back which I hadn’t even considered.

Apparently you can run a drive side Shimano BB cup with a NDS SRAM cup on a GXP crankset. A triumph of junk drawer engineering.

What are we liking for power meters these days? The tech appears to have moved on from the SRMs and Powertaps that were out there when I was last in the market.
