I just watched the last stage of the Vuelta España Femenina. HOLY SHIT, women's cycling is entering a golden age. It gave me chills to watch the riders battle the Angliru. It's a huge deal to see such depth and talent on maybe the hardest climb in the world. Paula Blasi is an absolute revelation.

Caught this pair of sea lions catching fish off the Steel Bridge in downtown #Portland It’s a long swim from the ocean up the Columbia and then Willamette Rivers.

I’m going to miss the Burnside Bridge, a draw bridge only 100 years young this year. Due to be replaced by a modern earthquake resistant eyesore scheduled for completion in 2031.

One of my favorite things is back in downtown Portland - the Roosevelt elk statue on SE Main, between Chapman and Lowndale squares. It was removed during the nightly protests at the federal building during the summer of 2020.
