If Dem leaders had been calling for impeachment and filing articles of impeachment and demanding to know why their GOP colleagues refuse to join them in impeaching and removing him—as they should have this entire term—the public would be better prepared for the urgency and necessity of it right now.

A ceasefire, if real, is a good thing, but it doesn’t change that Trump got us into a regional war, killed many people, got U.S. service members killed, threatened war crimes & genocide, jacked up costs & destabilized the global economy. Trump must be removed from office.

The Supreme Court’s ruling in February offered small businesses temporary relief from what has become a year of pain and uncertainty for Main Street. We must stop the pain from becoming permanent. Trump must automatically refund his tariff taxes.

I was a public defender for years, and what that job entails as much as anything is negotiating with government agents daily. I've a feeling everyone else whose job is oriented toward negotiation is asking the same thing I do daily: why would *anyone* negotiate with Trump, Kushner or Witkoff? Ever?

These are not the words of a sane person. Calling for the elimination of a civilization is a war crime. As I’ve repeatedly said, our military must only follow lawful orders. Every American of good conscience must repudiate this.

Four months ago, Senator Mark Kelly and five other Democratic members of Congress issued a video explaining emphatically that illegal orders must be refused by every service member up and down the chain. Today, we see exactly why they did so.

Republican majority leaders Thune and Johnson refuse to call back their members for an emergency session in the biggest American crisis of the century. Minority leaders Schumer and Jeffries should have their members in session right now on the steps of the capitol, if that's what they have to do.

It probably doesn’t matter but I called my Democratic members of Congress. And it probably doesn’t matter but they should push for impeachment. Because morally, it still matters that we try.

This is simply genocidal language and is a horror in itself.
