Saw dozens of healthcare staff, inc the surgeon for a chat first, the anaesthetist, nurses, theatre team. admin staff etc. ALL FREE (because in the UK we share the costs in our taxes) The NHS systems sometime feel disjointed, but the care is superb

Yesterday, the beautiful Bo left us aged 14, drifting peacefully to sleep and onto her next destination lying on a polka dot bed beneath a warm radiator with a belly full of M&S treats. She arrived as a rescue aged 4. Sad now but truly blessed for the joy she brought to so many. Love you, ladydog

At the dentist two days ago with toothache. X-rays show inflamed gums and possible wisdom tooth issues. Injection, area in question cleaned and sent on my way with antibiotics. Stand at reception desk fearing the worst. Cost? Nowt. Two days on, pain seems to have gone completely. Love your NHS.
