Some great work done last year. But there is a lack of focus on the city centre. We should build from the city centre outwards, not the other way around.

They've done it again, they've cut more rail projects. The most criminal one for me is cancelling the reopening of the Waterford-Wexford/Rosslare line. On the left is the All-island Rail Review published by the last government and on the right is the plan published today.

They haven't blocked the bike lane this year! It was becoming a very unwelcome Christmas tradition.

With all the recent intense rainfall, many parts of the woods are gloriously full of water. The forests, bogs, + other wild habitats we've removed once retained colossal amounts of water, preventing flooding downstream. Between that and climate breakdown, we're creating a perfect storm for floods.

It's mad to think how short this section is and how much parking will be left after the plan is done. The blue is the stretch where parking will be removed. The yellow is the available on street parking after the works

Island Road is grand and wide (and should have cycle lanes) But this narrow section is tough to navigate. I don't like lines of paint as cycle lanes, but maybe we could have one here, to encourage drivers to leave a gap

Missing link: This section by the Crescent Shopping Centre is very unpleasant. It's only a small gap. The entrance to the shopping centre is way too dangerous and should be closed. There are 3 other entrances available.

The beer boat has been a Utrecht phenomenon for years – and has been electric for quite some time now. The boat delivers directly to the cafés and restaurants along the canals.

What's happened to Crew brewery in Limerick is a disgrace. The local council removing the (albeit temporary) terrace outside the brewery with no consultation and little warning. The brewery said income from the terrace was vital to the business. But the council thought it would be better as parking
