I just wanted this type of social media for DnD. I didn't want to endlessly doomscroll our nation's decline into fascism. I wanted silly cats and funny memes. Now it's all doom all day, and I feel like I'm a worse person if I try to look away.

I'm a security guard (not a cop) at a high school that is about 3/4 Hispanic and about 1/4 Muslim. With everything going on, let me tell you the kids are SCARED. Many of them asked what would happen if ICE came to the school. I told them that ICE is not allowed into the school, and I'd enforce that.

I love being a DM. It's my preferred creative outlet. Being a player is enjoyable, but nothing beats those moments when your players are on the edge of their seats, teeming with anticipation of what will happen next.

Can't really use my Spotify Wrapped, because I use it for my D&D background music, my regular music, and my son uses my account as well and listens to it way more than I do.

I don't feel motivated to do anything until I have a shower. I don't want to do anything after the shower because now I'm all clean and don't want to ruin it. I'll just procrastinate until the last minute sense of dread forces me to do things in a mad scramble.

I don't have the urge to start a D&D podcast because our home game has been going on for so long that there are so many inside jokes that the audience would never get and would take too long to explain.

#dnd tips! In order to find a group to play with, you have to actually go meet strangers and talk to new people about yourself. Making friends as an adult is hard for some. Be understanding, patient, and kind. Keep looking until you find a good fit. Ask questions, set boundaries, be fun!
